T-Shirt Design ContestAre you ready to unleash your artistic flair and join the fun in our RMHC SWFL T-Shirt Design Contest? This is your chance to shine as we gear up for the 50th-anniversary celebration of RMHC Global in Chicago!

We’re opening the doors wide – this contest is for EVERYONE! It’s totally free to participate and submit your masterpiece. Imagine your design proudly adorning the shirts of our staff at this momentous event and even gracing our volunteer shirts in the future! How cool is that?

Not feeling the artistic vibes? No worries! Please spread the word to your friends and family, and let’s make this celebration of creativity genuinely epic!

Contest Guidelines + Rules

1. Eligibility: The contest is open to all artists and designers, regardless of age or location.

2. Theme: The theme of the contest is “Family.”

3. Submission Deadline: Artwork must be submitted by May 31, 2024, 11:59 PM (EST).

4. Artwork Specifications:

  • Full-color artwork should be in a high-resolution format, preferably in vector format (AI, EPS, or PDF) or at least 300 DPI in PNG.
  • The design should be suitable for screen printing on T-shirts.
  • You can design either the front or back of the T-shirt. Both sides are not required.
  • Designs should not include copyrighted materials, trademarks, or offensive content.

5. Design Elements: Your design is subject to modification. We will add our Chapter logo to the design after selecting the winner.

  • Reflect diversity, love, togetherness, and most importantly… FAMILY!
  • Designs should reflect the mission, values, and impact of Ronald McDonald House Charities SWFL.
  • Designs should include SWFL elements, i.e., palm trees, beaches, sunshine, etc. *Note: The staff at RMHC SWFL will attend a conference in Chicago to celebrate the 50th anniversary of RMHC! The staff will wear this shirt one of the days to represent their chapter in SWFL!
  • Please refrain from using or including the following:
    • Any Ronald McDonald House Charities logo and any components
    • Ronald McDonald® character and any components
    • McDonald’s® logo and any components
    • Any McDonald’s® characters

6. Submission Process:

  • Artists must register for the contest by emailing [email protected] with their name and contact information.
  • Artwork should be submitted electronically to [email protected] with the subject line “RMHC SWFL T-Shirt Design Contest Entry.”
  • Include your name and contact information in the body of the email.

7. Judging Criteria:

  • Creativity and originality.
  • Adherence to the theme.
  • Visual appeal and design aesthetics.
  • Effective use of colors and composition.

8. Winner Announcement:

  • The winner will be announced on June 17, 2024, on the Ronald McDonald House Charities website and social media channels.
  • The winner will also be notified via email or phone.

9. Prize:

  • The winning artist will receive a $50 gift card in honor of the 50th Anniversary!
  • The winning design will be printed on staff t-shirts for the 50th-anniversary celebration of RMHC in July in Chicago, and the winner will receive their very own t-shirt featuring their design.
  • The winning design will also be used on our volunteer t-shirts!

10. Usage Rights: By submitting your artwork, you grant RMHC SWFL the right to use, reproduce, and modify your design for promotional and fundraising purposes.
