IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Friends, with COVID cases rising in our area, our strong health care connection, and the safety of over 300 guests our top priority, we regretfully have decided to cancel our 27th Annual ‘Moana’ Storybook Ball on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Cue the disappointment as an evening of information, inspiration, and fun was planned, and we cannot wait to reschedule! As you can imagine, delaying our largest annual fundraiser indefinitely does not mean the needs for the children, families, and community we serve go away; with our donors’ generosity funding nearly 100% of our programs and services, thank you for considering a donation. We will announce a new date later in 2022 or 2023 when ‘Moana’ will make an appearance as soon as possible. For more information about the event or your donation’s impact, please contact Karen Zelden at 239-437-0202 or karenz@rmhcswfl.org. Thank you for your understanding and support of the families we have the privilege to serve!

About Our Honoree:
Suzanne Costa’s creative influences began early in life as the daughter of American jazz artist Eddie Costa. For over 20 years, Suzanne has helped clients create beautiful spaces as principal of Suzanne Costa Interiors. Equally passionate about giving back, for many years she has devoted her time and talents to Ronald McDonald House-Long Island and Ronald McDonald House SWFL. In 2016, her creativity and compassionate spirit inspired Suzanne to volunteer her services and lead a team of 20 respected Southwest Florida designers in a total renovation of the Fort Myers Ronald McDonald House. Four years later with the Fort Myers House expansion underway, she co-chaired Project Design 2020 and, with ten top area designers, furnished and decorated the 4,000 square foot expansion. As Laura Ragain, Executive Director, RMHC SWFL explains “we are beyond grateful for Suzanne’s creativity, support, and passion for our charity. Her valuable advice, leadership, and big heart not only led to two successful large project completions in five years, but significant cost savings as well. We are privileged to acknowledge her leadership as our 2022 Storybook Ball Honoree.”

Our reschedule date is pending. Please check back!
