Suncoast Credit Union Grants RMHC SWFL $20,000 to Help Families with a Hospitalized Child

[Fort Myers, FL- December 22, 2023] – Ronald McDonald House Charities® Southwest Florida (RMHC SWFL), specializing in family-centered care, extends its deepest gratitude to Suncoast Credit Union for their generous grant of $20,000.

This significant contribution from Suncoast Credit Union will play a crucial role in advancing the mission of RMHC SWFL, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a home-away-from-home for families with seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. The funds will directly impact the lives of these families by ensuring they have a comfortable and supportive place to stay during challenging times.

“We are immensely grateful to Suncoast Credit Union for their commitment to our cause,” said Laura Ragain, President & CEO. “This generous grant will make a meaningful difference in the lives of families facing medical crises, providing them with the support and comfort they need during their difficult journey.

The $20,000 grant will be utilized to enhance the services and facilities offered by RMHC SWFL, enabling the organization to accommodate more families, improve existing programs, and further its mission of keeping families together and promoting the healing process.

At Suncoast Credit Union, we pride ourselves on making a positive impact on the communities we serve, and we’re proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida and the invaluable services they provide to families in need,” said Kourtney Berry, Executive Director, Suncoast Credit Union Foundation. “Giving back is part of our DNA at Suncoast — and together, we can create a stronger and more compassionate community.”
