RMHC SWFL Supporters Had a Blast at Charity Clay Shoot

Grampy's Charity Clay ShootOn Saturday, March 18, almost 100 eager participants gathered at Sarasota Trap, Skeet & Clays in Nokomis for the 3rd Annual Grampy’s Charity Clay Shoot, benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida (RMHC SWFL). Supporting teams enjoyed a beautiful day shooting clays, a delicious pig roast, entertainment from a bluegrass band, and an award presentation. Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida raised almost $40,000 with the help of many supporters, including our presenting sponsors, Grampy’s Charities and Kids and Clays Foundation. Funds raised will support RMHC SWFL’s free programs that benefit children and families in need.

Since its inception, both Grampy’s Charities and the Kids and Clays Foundation have played significant roles in the success of RMHC SWFL’s sporting clay event. “Supporting RMHC SWFL is an easy decision for us,” says Jim Castle, founder of Grampy’s Charities. “Year after year, through their Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program, this wonderful organization invests in the health and well-being of children and their families and has a proven track record of success.” Additional sponsors included Miloff-Aubuchon, Besnard Insurance, Martin-Brower, Collier Electric, Fifth Third Bank, Turano Florida Bun, and more.

“We can continue to help children and their families in our community through the generosity of our sponsors and attendees,” says Julie Todaro, Director of Development. “We look forward to next year’s event on April 26, 2024!”
