Ronald McDonald House Charities® SWFL + Project Search Lee County Partner Together

Project SEARCH Lee County Student

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children and their families.

So, when we were approached to help support the Project SEARCH Lee County program, hosted by Lee Health at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida & Health Park Medical Center, we jumped at the opportunity!

Project Search is a ten-month school-to-work transition program for students with disabilities with total workplace immersion at Lee Health, classroom instruction, career exploration, on-the-job training and job development support. RMHC serves as one of the participating Lee Health Project SEARCH departments.

So far, we’ve had the pleasure of working with three Project Search students. This year, we are honored to have Brennan on board with us! Brennan is helpful, hilarious and all-around a kind young man! He helps vacuum the House every day, he is a master at shredding papers and he is always making us laugh!
