13 Jun Community Partners Team Up for the Greater Good

The Ronald McDonald® Care Mobile recently visited Grace Place, a Collier County educational institution located in the heart of Golden Gate. The Care Mobile was on site to provide dental, vision and hearing screenings for the children, and well-baby check-ups. In partnership with Healthcare Network, the mobile pediatric office travels to schools, community centers, and neighborhoods to deliver dental and medical care to children in Collier County.

“We are honored to support Grace Place in their mission of educating children and families,” said Amy Velez, marketing director of RMHC Southwest Florida. “Our partners at Healthcare Network provide much needed services to underserved children in Collier County and the Care Mobile helps make that possible.”

“Our mission here at Grace Place is to educate our children and families right here in our Golden Gate community; this includes health education,” added Maylen Rodriguez, marketing and communications coordinator. “We are extremely grateful for these services that lead our students to learn and develop a positive relationship with the idea of going to see the doctor.”
